وجد باحثون أميركيون أن تناول الشوكولا الداكنة يفيد الصحة بقدر ممارسة التمارين الرياضية بانتظام.

وذكرت التقارير، أن باحثين أميركيين من جامعة "واين" في مدينة ديترويت أجروا دراسة أظهرت أن مادة الـ"إبيكاتيشين" الموجودة في الشوكولا تحدث ردة الفعل العضلية عينها التي تحدثها التمارين.

وركز الباحثون على الحبيبات الخيطية وهي عضيات داخل الخلية تساهم في عملية منح الطاقة للجسم.

أفادت دراسة موسعة حديثة أن البالغين الذين يتناولون بانتظام مضاد الالتهاب "إيبوبروفين"

تنخفض لديهم مخاطر الإصابة بمرض "باركنسون" بحوالى 27 %، مقارنة مع الذين لا يستخدمونه.

وقال الدكتور ألبيرتو أشيريو أحد معدي الدراسة، وأستاذ علم الأوبئة والتغذية في كلية الصحة العامة في جامعة هارفارد :"ما من علاج لمرض باركنسون، لذا فإن قدرة إيبوبروفين، وهو عقار غير سام نسبيا، على حماية الأشخاص من هذا المرض هو أمر مثير للاهتمام".
